The liberal media has ruined my 2007 vacation plans

Thanks a lot, Washington Post. This morning, you get my hopes up with a story headlined "Army Ponders Amusement Venue, Hotel At Ft. Belvoir" -- seriously, I couldn't concentrate on anything all morning, not even Locker Room Inspection, an exercise which usually prompts laser-like focus -- and what happens this afternoon?

You run a story headlined "Army Rejects Proposal for Military Theme Park."

I am very upset right now, so I'm going to cut this short before I blog something I'll blogret. Suffice to say, I would have paid top dollar to ride in an M1-Abrams Tank, blasting away at "simulated" foreigners, and eating $12 Freedom Fries between sorties to the Danger Zone.

I also would have spent freely in the gift shop. I adore uniforms of all stripes.
